The entire country is currently under the influence of the monsoon. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the sky is generally cloudy to completely overcast across the country, and light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is occurring in most parts of the country.
Kathmandu Valley has also been experiencing continuous rainfall since Thursday night. Due to the rainfall, the water level in rivers and streams within the valley has risen.
Similarly, people who have had to go out for work have been seen wearing umbrellas and raincoats.
