Pulsar Sports Award to be held outside the Kathmandu Valley for the first time, on Bhadra 29 in Pokhara

Kathmandu, July 25, 2025 – The 22nd NSJF Pulsar Sports Award, organized by the Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF), is set to take place on Bhadra 29 2082 BS (late September) in Pokhara, marking the first time the ceremony will be held outside Kathmandu Valley. A sponsorship agreement signed on Friday between the NSJF, led by president Neeranjan Adhikari, and Golchha Group continues their long-standing partnership, which has now been extended for an additional five years. Under the renewed agreement, Golchha Group will provide sponsorship worth NPR 40 lakh—including motorcycles and cash prizes—for awardees and organizers alike.

The event will honor outstanding individuals across ten categories, including Best Male Athlete, Best Female Athlete, Young Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, People’s Choice, Para-Athlete, Special Award, Lifetime Achievement, Asian Sports Journalist, and Team of the Year. Winners in the five main categories will receive Pulsar motorcycles, while recipients of the remaining four categories will be awarded NPR 100,000 each
