Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), the European champions, have secured a spot in the FIFA Club World Cup final. The French giants made it to the final after a dominant 4-0 victory over Spanish contenders Real Madrid. PSG will now face English club Chelsea in the battle for the title.

In a match held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA, PSG outclassed Real Madrid in front of 77,000 spectators. Kylian Mbappé’s former club appeared powerless as PSG took a decisive lead just 24 minutes into the semifinal, crushing Real’s hopes. Within those 24 minutes, PSG netted three goals, later adding another one in the second half.

The scoring opened in the sixth minute with Fabian Ruiz taking advantage of a mistake by Real’s defender, Raúl Asensio. Moments later, French winger Ousmane Dembélé capitalized on another error by Antonio Rüdiger to double the lead. A brilliant exchange between Dembélé and Achraf Hakimi set up Ruiz to score the third, leaving Real Madrid stunned.

Throughout the match, Real Madrid struggled to find their footing against a commanding PSG side. Towards the end, Gonçalo Ramos sealed the victory with a fourth goal, ensuring PSG’s place in the final.

Under the guidance of coach Luis Enrique, PSG has navigated past strong teams to reach the final of the ongoing Club World Cup. Previously, PSG claimed the Champions League title with a 5-0 victory over Inter Milan. They entered the quarterfinals of the Club World Cup by defeating Inter Miami 4-0 and then advanced to the semifinals by overcoming Bayern Munich 2-0. Now, by beating Real Madrid 4-0, they have set their sights on the title clash.
