Protest against illegal construction is public land (Pictures)

Kathmandu, 06 July: Altogether 23 different organisations held a joint rally to protest against commercial and business groups using the public land in Lalitpur.

They marched from Lagankhel to the Lalitpur Metropolitan City office holding placards and shouting slogans for immediate eviction of the illegal occupants and constructions. 

They demanded that the constitution of business complexes in public land  must be prohibited and  that the people’s voice must be respected.

They also said that public land must be protected from land mafia.
