Proposed Ambassador Pant under scrutiny

Another Proposed ambassador has come under scrutiny after the proposed ambassador Sushil Pyakurel withdrew expressing dissatisfaction with the process.

Deshsanchar has received information that  Bijan Pant, who has no diplomatic experience was proposed as  the ambassador to the United Kingdom in Maoists quota. According to source, his educational background and residential status are under investigation.

His wife has been staying in the United kingdom. As a staunch supporter of the Nepali Congress, Pant was appointed as an expert advisor to former Minister Sushil Koirala in 2072.

Sources also informed that Pant’s relation with PM  Prachanda’s family has increased and has been offered  ambassador to the UK in the Maoist quota.
