Prez Poudel admitted to Teaching hospital

Kathmandu, 18 Apr: President Ram Chandra Poudel has been admitted at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) after he fell unconscious at his official residence in the morning.

President Poudel however regained his consciousness half an hour later and rushed to the hospital next door.

He is being treated under the supervision of Niraj Bam, chest specialist and his personal physician.

Hospital sources said he has developed chest infection and would be kept in the hospital for the test, supervision and necessary treatment.

This is the second time President Poudel has been admitted to the hospital within a span of two weeks.
