PM Dahal meets Prez Poudel, designates Khadka as officiating PM

Kathmandu, May 31: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ called on President Ram Chandra Poudel a little while before he was to embark on a four day official trip to Delhi.

It was not a ‘courtesy’ call but a business call, to designate Deputy Prime Minister in charge of Defence Ministry as the officiating PM during Dahal’s absence.

The Prime Minister, Sheetal Niwas sources said, also informed President Poudel about the agenda of his visit to Delhi beginning this afternoon.

The 88-member official team has half a dozen ministers, as many government secretaries, and the business community.
