PM Dahal bereaved

Kathmandu, 12 July: Sita Dahal, wife and political companion of Prime Minister and Maoist Chief Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ for over five decades is dead.

Dahal, aged 71, breathed her last at Norvic Hospital this morning, family source said.

Sagar KC, her son in law, said ‘Mummy is no more’.

Sita Dahal was iling for some time and was in coma for more than a year.

She suffered from acute breathlessness in the morning and was rushed to Norvic Hospital where all attempts to revier her respiration went in vain.
