Pipe bursts in Babarmahal, water floods government offices, road submerged

A burst pipe caused flooding in various government offices in Babarmahal, Kathmandu on Wednesday afternoon. Buildings including the Special Court were submerged.

The water from the burst pipe on the Babarmahal road flowed into the government building complex. Traffic on the road was also disrupted for a while due to the flooding.

Vehicles parked there were submerged in the accumulated water, and movement in the area has become difficult.
