Pakistan: Explosion Kills Three Soldiers Including a Major

Mastung ( Pakistan ) – At least three security personnel, including a Pakistani Army Major, were killed in a bomb blast that occurred on Tuesday night in Mastung district of Balochistan province, Pakistan. The explosion took place near Kali Pasand Khan in the Kurdgap tehsil.

According to the BBC, the blast occurred when unidentified armed individuals planted an explosive device. The explosion went off as security force vehicles were passing through the area.

Reports indicate that a military vehicle was hit in the explosion, resulting in the deaths of an Army Major and two other soldiers. Three additional personnel were injured in the attack.

While Pakistani government officials have not yet released any official statement regarding the incident, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for the attack.
