NEPSE Surges 49.18 Points today

Today, the Nepali stock market has seen a positive trend. The main stock market index (NEPSE) has gone up by 49.18 points. This means that the overall value of shares has increased. However, the total amount of money invested in the market has decreased compared to yesterday.

While the previous day saw a turnover of Rs 5.68 billion, today’s turnover stood at Rs 4.81 billion. With a total of 12.49 million shares traded, the stock turnover has decreased compared to the previous day, NEPSE reported.

Today, the banking group increased by 1.8%, development banks by 2.75%, finance by 3.80%, hotels and tourism by 3.50%, hydropower by 2.60%, investment by 1.56%, life insurance by 1.91%, manufacturing by 1.44%, microfinance by 1.49%, non-life insurance by 1.67%, others by 1.75% and the trading group by 1.78%.

NEPSE has informed that the share prices of Win Nepal Microfinance, Nyadi Hydropower, Unique Nepal Microfinance, Sagarmatha Hydropower, and Thristar Hydropower have increased by 10%.
