NEPSE Index Climbs 37 Points

The upward trend of the NEPSE index, a measure of share trading in the securities market, continues. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange, the NEPSE index today increased by 37.13 points to reach 2,690.72.

The sensitive index, which measures the trading of large companies, has increased by 7.32 points to reach 483.78. Of the 13 sub-indices traded today, the share prices of two sub-indices declined while those of 11 sub-indices increased.

A total of 1 crore, 58 lakhs, 45 thousands, 449 units of shares were bought and sold for a total value of Rs. 7 arba 95 crore 95 lakhs 3 thousand and 27.

According to NEPSE, investors of Three Star Hydropower gained 9.93%, Dolti Power Company 9.68%, NIC Asia Flexi Chap Fund 8.80%, Joshi Hydropower 8.42%, and People’s Hydropower 7.59%.

Similarly, Eastern Hydropower’s shares hit a negative circuit today. Also, investors of Kumari Sabal Yojana lost 7.40%, Bin Nepal Laghubitta 6.14%, Janutthan Community Laghubitta 4.07%, and Pokhara Finance 3.76%.
