NEPSE Falls by 111.96 Points
Kathmandu – This week, the capital market experienced a significant decline. The NEPSE index fell by 111.96 points today, reaching 2,782.60 points, down 3.86% overall. A total of 4.39 million shares from 330 companies were traded 234,360 times, totaling NPR 18.64 billion.
The Hotel and Tourism group rose by 0.43%, but other sectors dropped. Notably, Banking fell by 4.92%, Development Banks by 4.18%, Finance by 4.69%, and Investment by 4.13%. Other sectors also saw declines, including Hydropower and Life Insurance.
Shares of Taragaon Regency Hotel, Atmanirbhar Microfinance, and Dolti Power saw positive circuit limits, while Nepal Finance experienced a negative circuit limit. Himalayan Reinsurance had the highest turnover of NPR 654.29 million, and Api Power led in share volume with NPR 14.59 million.
