Nepali Pilgrims’ Bus Crash in Bihar Injures Over 35

A bus carrying Nepali pilgrims has been involved in an accident in Bihar, India. The accident occurred at 3 a.m. on Sunday in Samastipur district, resulting in more than 35 people being injured. The bus overturned on National Highway 28 in the Mushriherari police station area of Samastipur.

Indian media reports indicate that the bus, with the registration number NA 7 K 6446, was hit from behind by a truck, causing it to lose control and overturn.

Among the injured, 8 are in serious condition. The injured have been admitted to private and district hospitals in Mushriherari.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the Mushriherari police station dispatched officers to the scene to rescue the passengers trapped in the bus and transport them to a private hospital on the national highway.

Indian media reports that 6 people are in critical condition. Further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
