Nepal Stock Market Sees Unprecedented Surge with 127.32 Points Gain After Continuous Decline

Since August 18, the stock market has been on a continuous decline, but on Monday, there was an unprecedented increase.

On Monday, the stock market saw an increase of 127.32 points in a single day.

On August 15, the NEPSE index reached 3000 points but had declined continuously to 2695.93 points by Sunday. However, after an increase of three points in a single day on Monday, the NEPSE index settled at 2823.25 points.

Out of 335 companies that were traded, 239 saw an increase in their share prices. On Monday, a total of 13.1 billion Nepali Rupees worth of transactions were conducted.
