Nepal Stock Market Dips Slightly ; Index Falls by 12 Points

The stock market has decreased slightly on Thursday. The NEPSE index dropped by 12 points to settle at 2,727 points.

The trading amount also decreased on Thursday. Shares worth 2 crore units were traded, amounting to only 9.65 billion Nepalese rupees.

On Thursday, the share prices of 101 companies increased, while 138 companies’ shares fell, and 4 companies’ shares were traded at their previous prices.

Investors in Nepal Finance have suffered the most losses per share. They have lost 8.91 percent, which is equivalent to 147 rupees per share.

The highest trading volumes were in Nepal Finance with 405 million rupees, NLG Insurance with 342.2 million rupees, Goodwill Finance with 299.6 million rupees, Himalayan Reinsurance with 290 million rupees, and API Power with 226.1 million rupees.
