The Narayangadh–Muglin road section in Muglin (Chitwan) was closed until 3 PM today, but it’s now open again to two-way traffic.

According to Engineer Krishna Acharya, Information Officer at the Road Division Office in Bharatpur, a boulder became stuck at the Tuin Bhir area in Ichchhakamana–6, Chitwan. They closed the road from 11 AM this morning until 1 PM to clear it. Since the work wasn’t finished, the closure was extended until 3 PM.

Because there was a risk of more rocks falling from above and causing an accident, the office used a long-reach excavator to remove the boulder and reduce the danger. Once the rock was cleared, two-way traffic resumed. Throughout the closure, the office had requested drivers to stay within their lanes and remain stopped as instructed.
