Kathmandu — Under a letter dated Shrawan 8, programs being implemented in Nepal with grants from the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) have been confirmed to receive continuity.

According to the Ministry of Finance, a letter issued on Sawan 8 endorsed the resumption of MCC‑funded programs in Nepal.

In a press release from the Ministry, it is stated:

“The Compact agreement between the Government of Nepal and MCC, initially signed on Bhadra 29, 2074 B.S., was suspended for review on Magh 7 under a directive from the U.S. President. In this context, on Sawan 8, a letter was received recommending the continuation of the Nepal Compact.”
