Magar Community Celebrates Maghe Sankranti in Kathmandu (PHOTOS)

The Magar community is celebrating the Maghe Sankranti festival with great enthusiasm. On the occasion of Maghe Sankranti, they have also organized various events in Kathmandu.

As part of the celebrations, the Magar community residing in the Kathmandu Valley held a rally with various places, starting from Bhrikuti Mandap to Tudikhel.

During the event, people of all ages from the Magar community, from children to the elderly, gathered at Tudikhel wearing their cultural attire. They performed traditional dances and also carried out worship of their daughters and young women.

Although the Magar community primarily resides in the hilly regions, the population of the Magar community is quite large in the Gandaki region as well.
