Lightning strikes take 24 lives in Gujarat

Kathmandu, 27 Nov: The lightning and thunderstorm have killed at least 24 lives leaving many more injured  in Gujarat, according to Indian media.

The rain and hailstorm that began from Sunday has also resulted in huge loss of animals and standing crops.

‘Until 12 pm on Monday, Kukarmunda in Tapi recorded the highest of 36 mm rains followed by Navsari 20 mm and Chikhli 17 mm in Navsari district’, said the Indian Express.
