KP Oli and Bidhya Devi Bhandari holds talk at Party office Chyasal

Kathmandu – Prime Minister and CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli and Former President Bidhya Devi Bhandari have begun a meeting.

The meeting started on Sunday afternoon at the UML party office in Chyasal, Kathmandu. Bhandari arrived at Chyasal to meet Oli, and he arrived shortly afterward.

Bhandari has already declared her intent to return to active politics within the UML party. However, Oli is reportedly attempting to prevent her from re-entering the party’s leadership.

At the Politburo meeting held on Saturday, the UML concluded that her party membership renewal remains pending and that she cannot be included in the party leadership immediately.

Former President Bhandari had announced her return to the UML at the Madan Bhandari 74th birth anniversary event on 14 Asar 2082 BS.
