Kathmandu District Court allows 3 days of judicial Custody for Top Bdr Rayamajhi
Kathmandu, 15 May: The Kathmandu District Court has remanded former deputy Prime Minister Top Bahadur Rayamajhi for a 3-day judicial custody after he was produced before the court today following his arrest last night.
Meanwhile, the district court had also allowed 12 people to be kept in judicial custody for additional 4 days. All these accused in the fake Bhutanese refugee case were being interrogated by the police.
The District Court readily agreed to the police request for extension of judicial custody.
The 12 people remanded for the courtesy among others include, former Minister for Home Affairs Balkrishan Khad, former Maoist legislative Indrajit Rai and his son Dhiraj Rai, former home secretary Tek Narayan Pandy and Top bahadur Rayamajhi son Sandeep.
