CNN has published a report, citing two U.S. officials, stating that missiles were launched from Iran targeting U.S. military bases in Qatar and Iraq. The American side is reportedly tracking those missiles.

According to a White House official, U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley are currently in the “Situation Room.”

Earlier, a senior official had said that the White House and the Department of Defense are monitoring the situation due to a potential threat of an attack on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

U.S. President Donald Trump visited that base last month, becoming the first president to do so since 2003. It is the largest American military base in the Middle East.
