Indian leader Sitaram Yechury’s official residence raided
Kathmandu, 03 Oct: Indian Police have raided the official residence of Sitaram Yechury, leader of the Communist Party of India –Marxist (CPI-M) Tuesday afternoon.
The raid was a part of the ongoing action on Tuesday morning linked to an online portal NewsClick, said Indian Media.
The raid was not targeted to the CPI-M, rather to an employee at NewsClick who is son of party office staff, said The Hindustan Times quoting Yechury.
It is informed that NewsClick employee’s devices including mobile phone, hard disks and laptop were confiscated.
