India to Arrange Special Aircraft for Deceased Tourists from Abu Khaireni Accident

Kathmandu: The government of India will be arranging special aircraft to ferry the bodies of Indian tourists who lost their lives in by a road accident at Abu Khaireni in Tanahu yesterday.

The decision was taken at the wish of the families and relatives of the victims . According to the Indian Express, Maharashtra a chief Minister Eknath Sindhu spoke to Union Amit Shah and senior officials about bringing home the bodies of the dead.

A statement released by the CMO, Shah told Shinde that a special officer has been appointed for coordination and a special IAF aircraft will be provided to bring the bodies back, Express said.

Altogether 27 people were declared dead and 16 were undergoing treatment in the teaching Hospital. They had been rescued by Nepal’s security agencies and later brought to Kathmandu in Nepal Army’s Mi 17 helicopter .
