Income Tax raids in Binod Chaudhary’s industries in India
Kathmandu, 27 Sept: Income Tax authorities in India have raided various business complexes owned by Nepal’s only ‘billionaire’ Binod Chaudhary in various states in India.
Starting from Assam’s Guwahati, the authorities have raided the firms owned by CG groups in Sikkim, West Bengal and lately in Rajasthan, according to Indian TV channels.
Media reports have said the authorities are studying various documents and will decide the course of action only after that.
Media also said that Indian Tax authorities in Assam are leading the investigation and the raids are being conducted in their supervision and coordination with other state offices of the Income Tax department.
