Gandaki and Lumbini provinces to get new CM today

Kathmandu, 25 Apr: Gandaki and Lumbini provinces will have new chief ministers-both from the Nepali Congress backed by the ruling alliance-today.

According to high level sources in the alliance, Surendra Pandey and Dilli Dilli Choudhary will respectively be the new chief ministers of Gandaki and Lumbini.

Both will be required to prove their majority in the floor of the state legislature within a month.

Both the provincial governments led by UML had failed to prove their majority in the House leading to their exit within a month of their formation.
