Floods and landslides completely block ten major highways

Kathmandu – Floods and landslides have completely blocked ten highways across the country.

According to the Police Headquarters, the affected highways include the Koshi Highway in Sankhuwasabha, the Mechi Highway in Panchthar, the Pasang Lhamu Highway in Rasuwa, the Kantilo Path in Makwanpur, the Darbang road in Myagdi, the East-West Highway in Nawalparasi, the Bheri Corridor in Dolpa, the Jajarkot-Dolpa-Bheri Corridor in Rukum West, and the Jayaprithvi Highway in Bajhang.

Additionally, roads like the Banepa-Nala-Bhaktapur route, the Kaligandaki Corridor in Baglung, portions of the highway in Gulmi, and the Sahid Highway in Rolpa are operating in a single lane due to disruptions caused by floods and landslides.
