Kathmandu – Emergency Meeting of Central Security Committee and National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority Executive Committee ongoing

An emergency meeting of the Central Security Committee and the Executive Committee of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority is ongoing from 1 PM today at the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The meeting will discuss the damage caused by the flood in Rasuwa and related security concerns.

Earlier, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak went to Baluwatar after being summoned by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel is also scheduled to visit the flood-affected areas today.

Due to continuous heavy rainfall in the Chinese region, a massive flood occurred in Rasuwagadhi, resulting in 18 people, including three police personnel, being reported missing.
