Eight people dead, 17 rescued in bus accident in Dhading
At least eight people died and over dozens were wounded in a bus accident in Dhading.
The ill-fated bus- Province 3-01-005 Kha 9952- en route to Beni, Myagdi from Kathmandu plunged into the Trishuli river, in the morning today.
The deceased included a child and two women, said the local people, who are assisting the rescue efforts.
At least 17 injured people have been rescued, and of them 13 were sent to Kathmandu for treatment, and four others are receiving care at the Gajuri community hospital, said Superintendent of Police Gautam Mishra.
A joint team of Nepali Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and has been deployed for the rescue efforts.
