Dr. Poudel appointed as the new governor

Kathmandu: Dr. Biswo Nath Poudel has been named by the government to be the new governor of Nepal Rastra Bank on Tuesday.

Dr. Poudel has been appointed as the next governor of Nepal Rastra Bank during the cabinet meeting, Tuesday evening.

Prithivi Subba Gurung, Government spokesperson, provided information regarding Dr. Poudel’s appointment.

Prior to the cabinet meeting, the governor recommendations committee presented three choices for selection, including Dr. Poudel.
