District Court, Sarlahi begins hearing on case against Bomjan
Malangawa, Jan 11: Ram Bahadur Bomjan, accused of murder and rape, has been presented today before the District Court, Sarlahi which had issued an arrest warrant against him.
According to record keeper Sadan Adhikari, the hearing on the case against Bomjan has started in the bench of the Judge at the District Court, Sarlahi, Bishnu Regmi,
The District Court, Sarlahi, had on February 6, 2020 given permission to the police to arrest Bomjan on the case of murder and sexual exploitation.
A team of the Central Investigation Bureau had arrested him on Tuesday.
The Nepal Police was searching Bamjon-a controversial ascetic- for long following complaints about the missing of four persons including a lady monk from Bamjon’s Ashram.
There are complaints of rape and sexual assault too filed against him.
