Delhi witnesses several restrictions as air pollution rises
Kathmandu, 06 Nov: The New Delhi government has announced several curb measures as part of its response to air pollution.
The 24-hour average AQI (Air Quality Index) in Delhi measured 454 on Sunday marking ‘severe plus’ category of air pollution while it measured 429 on Monday, according to Indian Express.
Schools are said to halt physical class upto grade 5 till November 10 and also halted are construction activities, it said.
Trucks except carrying essentials like milk and vegetables are prohibited to enter into Delhi.
Similarly, the light commercial vehicles registered outside excluding electric/CNG/BS-VI carrying essentials Delhi have been banned entering Delhi, the paper added.
