CIB interrogating former PM Madhav Nepal on Lalita Niwas Land scam

Kathmandu, 15 August: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) has summoned former Prime Minister and United Socialist leader Madhav Kumar Nepal for interrogation in connection with the Lalita Niwas Land Scam.
Former PM Nepal returned home from his trip to Geneva yesterday.
After being summoned for today by CIB, he has begun political and legal consultations.
The Supreme Court verdict on 6th August to investigate those directly involved in decision making had removed the hurdle towards investigating two former Prime ministers Baburam Bhattarai and Madhav Kumar Nepal.
