Central Haj Committee chair Samsher Miya arrested in connection to Refugee scam

Kathmandu: 18 May: Samsher Miya, Chair of the Central Haj Committee has been arrested in connection with the Refugee Scam investigations.

Miya was arrested from the Energy Ministry premises in Singha Durbar in the noon and police is investigating the cause of his presence as well.

It is said that Miya’s vehicle was used to carry money that collected during the deal from ‘refugees’ aspiring to settle down in the U S.
