British Princess Sophie Arrives in Kathmandu

Kathmandu – Princess Sophie of the United Kingdom arrived in Nepal on Tuesday.

She arrived in Kathmandu this morning for a private visit lasting about a week. Prince Edward is also preparing to arrive in Kathmandu today.

From this Sunday, Prince Edward, who has been on a visit to India (from Delhi), and Sophie (from London), were scheduled to land in Kathmandu on separate flights. As per the plan, Sophie has already landed, while Edward is on his way from Delhi.

As soon as Prince Edward arrives in Kathmandu from New Delhi, a meeting with President Ram Chandra Paudel has been scheduled for Tuesday. Diplomatic sources have also confirmed that Sophie will join her husband, Edward, in his program.
