Blast in Pakistan kills 39
A blast in a political convention in Pakistan has cost at least 39 people and injured over 120.
The explosion targeted members of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) party which was holding its convention in the town of Khar, close to the border with Afghanistan, CNN said, adding there has been no initial claim of responsibility for the attack.
The injured in suspected suicide blast tore through the convention organized by an Islamist party in northwestern Pakinstan had been rushed to hospital, it further said quoting local police.
