Bhatbhateni Honors Guard Who Stopped Looters

Bhatbhateni has honored the security guard who fended off those attempting to loot the store during the royalist protest on Chaitra 15th  at Tinkune, by striking them with a baton.

Bhatbhateni awarded security guard Dul Prasad Parajuli with 5,11,111 Nepalese Rupees in cash and a promotion of five grade levels. Chairman and Managing Director Min Bahadur Gurung presented him with the honor and a check.

Videos that surfaced from the protest showed him using a baton to chase away those who had entered or were attempting to enter Bhatbhateni to loot the store. Bhatbhateni also honored other guards who were on duty at the time.

Bhatbhateni reported that the vandalism and looting caused damages amounting to 8 million Nepalese Rupees.
