Bailey bridge over Simbuwa washed away

Taplejung – The bailey bridge over the Simbuwa river connecting Faktanglung Rural Municipality-5 and 6 at Rani Pul has been washed away. The bridge was washed away by floods in the Simbuwa river following incessant rains, local Tenzing Balung informed. As a result, traffic in the area has been disrupted.

The Simbuwa is a tributary of Tamor River. The bailey bridge was built by Remit Hydropower Company Ltd. four years ago.
