Weather to remain clear during Dashain

Kathmandu, Oct 24: The weather remains cloudy partially in the hilly areas of the country today and it will be clear in the rest areas, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

Although the westerly wind impacts partially, the weather will generally be clear throughout Dashain festival, it said.

According to meteorologist Rojan Lamichhane, light rain along with a thundershower is predicted in one or two places of the hilly areas today afternoon. Light rain alongside a thunderstorm is likely in one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous areas of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Gandaki and Bagmati provinces, he said.
