Government to unveil Policies and Programmes

Kathmandu, 19 May: President Ram Chandra Poudel will be addressing the joint session of parliament to unveil the government policies and programmes today.

He is scheduled to address the joint session around four pm in the Federal Parliament Building, Naya Baneshwor, said the Federal Parliament Secretariat.

He is believed to have told the government to cut down traditional pomps and shows when he travels between Sheetal Niwas, office of the president and the Parliament House.

After the joint meeting, the separate meetings of the House of Representatives and National Assembly would take place.
