Nepal win by 3 wickets
In the second match of the series on One-day International played against United Arab Emirates (UAE), Nepal won the game by 3 wickets.With this win, Nepal equaled the series by 1-1 and the last game will be the decider for the series.
UAE, choose to bat after winning the toss, was all out with 191 runs at 43.2 overs. In response, Nepal met the target loosing 7 wickets at 47.5 overs.
Muhammad Waseem hit half century while Vritya Aravind and Alishan Sharafu made 25 and 35 runs respectively. Similarly, Basil Hameed hit 24 runs while Vishnu Sukumaran made 15 runs. On the other hand, Sompal Kami and Lalit Rajbanshi had taken 3 wickets each in favour of Nepal.
Gulsan Jha made 37 runs while Kushal Bhurtel hit 35 runs when following the target of 192 runs. Likewise, Gyanendra Malla succeeded to make 26 run. Nepal was also awarded with 5 runs as penalty after UAE baller spitted the ball since spitting the ball has been prohibited after COVID-19 pandemic.
Nepal lost 6 wickets at 106 runs but Gulsan and Aarif made 62 runs partnership ensuring the team Nepal win. Aarif and Sompal Kami stayed not out with 33 and 16 runs respectively.
