Mountaineer Anurag Maloo found safe, airlifted to Hospital

Anurag Maloo, the Indian climber as well as advocate for sustainable development who went missing on April 17th after falling into a crevasse below base camp 3 on Mount Annapurna, has been found and safely transported to Pokhra Hospital for treatment, according to the press release by the group that he is associated with.

He has been found in critical conditions by rescuers, as Indian Express mentions quoting his brother.

Giving details about Anurag the release mentioned he known for his passion for mountaineering and his work in the field of impact innovation and sustainable development. He is the founder of the #Climbing4SDGs initiative, which uses mountaineering as a platform to engage with local communities, raise awareness about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), inspire people to take action, and support innovation.

Stating that after days of intense search efforts, Anurag was located by a team of Sherpas and promptly evacuated to receive medical attention, the release thanked everyone who were involved in the search for Anurag.
