Prez Poudel admitted to hospital

Kathmandu: The President Ram Chandra Poudel has been admitted to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) at Maharajgunj.

Poudel was admitted to the Hospital last night after he complained of chest and abdominal problems.

Doctors had advised him for thorough check up and hospitalization following his pathological tests at TUTH on Thursday. He was given couple of injections for instant relief.

Sources said, he was ready to administer oath of office and secrecy to new ministers on Friday after he felt comfortable enough to perform the constitutional role.

Hospital sources said that Poudel will remain under intense observation as he has water accumulated in chest and there are some swellings in the abdominal parts.
