Kathmandu: President Ram Chandra Poudel has appointed half a dozen prominent people as senior advisors.
Sunil Bahadur Thapa, a former Minister, has been tipped as the President’s chief advisor with the rank of a cabinet minister.
Former Rashtra Bank governor Chiranjivee Nepal and former attorney general Baburam Kunwar are slated to join as finance and legal advisor to the president, sources said.
Suresh Chandra Chalise, a former ambassador, has already joined the president’s secretariat as chief personnel secretary.
Interestingly, the president’s men have been associated with the Nepali congress.
