Lamichhane to initiate process for obtaining citizenship Sunday

Rabi Lamichhane is likely to initiate the process for obtaining new Nepali citizenship Sunday.

According to Rastriya Swatantra Party sources, he will go to the District Administration Office, Kathmandu and fill up the citizenship form there.

Lamichhane, a former Deputy Prime Minister and RSP’s Chief had been disqualified as member of the House of Representative by the Supreme Court with the verdict of holding his Nepali citizenship ‘invalid’.

However, Lamichhane is all set to regain the party membership and then party chief’s post soon after gaining the citizenship.
