Mudslide in Dolpa kills one, injures six amid continuous rainfall

Dolpa— A woman has died and six others were injured in a mudslide triggered by continuous rainfall last night in Gairigaun, Jagadulla Rural Municipality-5, Dolpa.

The incident occurred around 3 AM when a mudslide from Dhulakhola and nearby streams entered the village, resulting in the immediate death of approximately 56-year-old Anandi BK. Six others were injured in the flood.

Rescue and medical arrangements have been made for the injured, while security personnel and local residents are actively engaged in rescue and relief operations in the affected area.
