National Assembly to discuss finance and appropriation bills today

Kathmandu – The National Assembly under the Federal Parliament is set to prioritize discussions on financial and budget-related bills and the Appropriation Bill at its meeting today at 1:15 PM.

According to the Parliament Secretariat, National Assembly Secretary Tul Bahadur Kandel will table messages received from the House of Representatives regarding the “Finance Bill, 2083” and the “National Debt Raising Bill, 2083” before the assembly.

Following this, there will be a grouped discussion on the appropriation headings for various ministries, including the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies; Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Environment; Ministry of Infrastructure Development; Ministry of Home Affairs; Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation; Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Ministry of Finance; and Ministry of Defense.

Additionally, the agenda includes discussions on the appropriation headings for the Office of the President, the Office of the Vice President, the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, and the Secretariat of the National Planning Commission.
