Croatia secured their place in the knockout stage of the FIFA World Cup 2026 with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Ghana in a thrilling Group ‘L’ match.

In the match held on Sunday, goals from Petar Susik and Nikola Vlasic led Croatia to victory. Petar Susik opened the scoring for Croatia in the 31st minute, giving them an early lead. Trailing by one goal in the first half, Ghana made an impressive comeback in the second half.

In the 73rd minute, Ghana’s Derrick Luckassen scored to level the match at 1-1. However, in the 83rd minute, Croatia’s Nikola Vlasic scored the decisive goal, securing a 2-1 win for his team.
