National Independent Party releases preliminary list for central committee candidates

In Chitwan, the final day of the National Independent Party’s convention saw the release of the preliminary list of candidates for central committee members on Wednesday. The party’s central election commission made this announcement a short while ago. However, the exact timing for the voting to elect central members is still undecided. Rabi Lamichhane was selected unopposed as the party president on Tuesday night. The convention is expected to extend further as the selection of other office bearers will only proceed after the central members are elected.
